UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND

Since 2013, MECI Jordan has worked in partnership with UNICEF to implement and administer Remedial Education Programs for Syrian refugee and vulnerable Jordanian children. In 2016, MECI developed its programs in 20 schools across the country in partnership with UNICEF.


UNITED NATIONS EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC & CULTURAL ORGANIZATION

In 2015, MECI implemented its Informal and Remedial Education programs for out-of-school Syrian and host community children in collaboration with UNESCO. Its partnership was part of UNESCO’s larger Education in Emergency Program, which is funded by the European Union.


MALALA FUND

In 2016, MECI received the support of the Malala Fund to offer remedial education to 900 young adolescent Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians in 3 schools located in Irbid, Jordan. The purpose of the program is to assist students catch up academically to their grade and provide outlets for self-expression through art, sports, and life skills.
